Tonight (Thursday) Phillies game.

On a slightly different note, I put on Comcast Sportnet (now NBC Sports Philadrlphia) on Friday to see some post Phillies gsme coverage. It’s been a while since I put on CSN but I was surprised how little local programming they have these days other than pre and post game shows.

NBC Sports Boston is in similarly dire condition. When Celtics games aren't on or being replayed, there's nothing but old games, stale documentaries, fishing/hunting shows, and "paid programming." (Right now, at 10 a.m. Saturday, the channel is running a five-hour block of infomercials!) Later today, the offerings will include a poker tournament recorded god-knows-where nearly FIVE YEARS AGO! It's a college football Saturday, yet NBCSB doesn't have the rights to air live games of any school anywhere. I mean, what's the point of even putting anything on the channel during the NBA off-season? Who advertises on "Greatest Sports Legends," "New England Boating" or "Poker Night in America" in prime time?

If that’s all people watched….
