He sang with Christina Aguilera! That HAS to make him hip.

And all those wins. Not just nominations. WINS.

This has to be a good sign for our format, right?
 
Tony's been hot with kids since the mid to late 1990's. In fact he almost became cult with some of them. You have to give the guy (and his son, who manages him) a lot of credit for re-inventing himself. Unlike a lot of people who lose their talents as they get older, he can still do it. In fact, I like a lot of his more recent stuff better than some of his early hits.

In concert, he's great. He makes it look so easy. He appears to be totally at ease with what he is doing. I hope I'm doing half as good at age 80.
 
I love the duet he does with Diana Krall ... where they talk back and forth to each other and don't miss a beat. WOW! You go, Tony!
