Tony Beringer

Really? Nicer guy? LOL! Do you know him that well? Apparently not. Also, do you know why he was fired from CC? Not let go, fired. It wasn't because he was a nice guy. He was a shady crook and got what was coming to him. Everyone at the station he managed was so happy when they saw him being escorted out. It was like a weight was lifted. So yeah, it couldn't of happened to a nicer guy. LOL! NOT!

Karma is a B!

WHAT? The great Tony Beringer is no longer at Cheap Channel? The little round Hobbit who considers himself the world's greatest radio salesman and manager has been ousted?

Well, could it be because he:

1. Cut promotional deals with advertisers and events that went into his pocket, rather than CC billing?
2. Made inappropriate/harassing comments to his female employees?
3. Was a victim of "The Peter Principle" after he was elevated to regional management?
4. Had a terrible, juvenile haircut?

He did make some money for his corporate overlords, and is a scumball like they are, so it both surprises and don't surprise me that he's gone. I wish him well. Okay, not really, and he never wished me well.

Wow. I've seen people get canned and been a casualty myself, but I can't remember anyone ever being "escorted" to the door. Rumors abound regarding things that would normally lead to an indictment but at this point, they're only rumors. If half or what has been rumored is reality, I can't see C.C. just letting it go. Should be fun to watch because i don't think we've heard the last of this one.

Regardless, I can't recall a time when the response to a move has been so overwhelmingly positive (in the market and on other social media). Congrats, Tony...you made it to the top of the list...but, I'm pretty sure it's a list no one wants to be on.

Somebody doesn't read sarcasm well...

CC will continue to dominate the ratings for a couple of basic reasons:

Tight, conservative playlists (for the most part)... the three rules to winning a music format are (say it with me) 1) Play the hits 2) Play the hits 3) Play the hits

And, secondly, Zeb... seriously, he makes that much difference. Life in a Zeb world is SO much better than life anywhere else. And the processing is, of course, second to none.
