Davey Morris has taken over programming PRO-FM along with programming HOT 106 & corporate programming duties. New Lite PD is Brian DeMay from WJBR, Wilmington, DE.

Wow, that's surprising. I guess I should amend what I said... no way Cumulus was going to hire someone new to fully replace Bristol (as Morris took most all of his duties... knowing Cumulus with no raise in pay). The guy that came in from JBR had to be at a steep discount. If I'm Davey Morris, I'm worried that come the next Cumulus Christmas layoff I'm history and Brian DeMay is single handedly running the cluster for pennies on the dollar versus whatever Morris is making. Kind of surprised anyone would leave any company to join Cumulus... and Beasley isn't all that bad an operator in comparison.

Bottom line - never EVER trust Lew Dickey. The man is a snake up to his eyeballs in debt he can't possibly pay off.

Not sure Demay left Beasley on his own. There was a posting awhile back that said Brian had left JBR..this was well before he was hired at Lite. I suspect Brian was unfairly relieved of his duties in Wilmington. The dude has a good reputation. I wish him well at Lite.

Brian DeMay is a class act who put up respectable and winning numbers in Buffalo at Entercom's Star 102.5 but got RIF'd. He then took WJBR Wilmington to #1 in all dayparts but got the Beasley Bone. He starts Monday, 3/4 at Lite 105. Many of those who knew or worked with him wish him well.
