Could anyone tell me, since I don't get Sporting News radio where I'm at, have Bruno or Stein had anything to say on-air about their experience with Fox Sports Radio, and why they left?

Why would Bruno want to remind anyone that he went to the smallest and least known Network of the Big Three and also took a $400 K paycut? Stein was eventually going to be let go by Fox so he convinced SNR to hire him.

Is Asswood Giving You Overtime Pay to Post in Here, Shill?

I'd hit up that fat slob for some overtime pay if I were you.

Hey Scream,
I don't know Ashwood but everyone seems to respect him and like him for being a fair guy. The guys that he let go of imploded! He had no choice and most of them still can't find a job other than Tony who is cleared on a station in LA that gets a ZERO share. Do you understand what that means? ZERO share to go along with the worst affiliate base in Network sports talk. You are a hater and little groupie who would wait out in the cold for two hours for a t-shirt if your favorite host told you to. Grow up and learn the business side of sports talk. There are about three guys in Network sports radio that have a huge affiliate base and get along with people. Tony is not one of them and when he finds out that Sporting News can't get him more major markets without buying them on credit, he will soon freak out.

Whatever...I hope you enjoy the Premiere Radio Christmas party tonight. If they have an Asswood Butt Kissing contest at the party, I think you have the moxie to beat out even Chris Morales and JT the Brick.

HEY "REAL DEAL"..YOU'RE A TOTAL MORON!!!

Are you smoking Asswood's bad weed or what?

Do your homework! Bruno's LA station is crap because they don't promote it.

As for network affiliate base. Let me give you some real facts. Bruno is on in MORE MAJOR MARKETS THAN ANY SHOW ON FOX..other than the overnight garbage no-one listens to like JT and Sedano.
Which station carries the failed efforts Fox has trotted out since Bruno left that sinking ship? No one in LA, SF, ST. Louis, Tampa, Indy, Boston or top 20 market. Asswood is left hiring druggies and guys who can't hold jobs like Ferrell and John Renshaw until they do sometghing stupid and get fired.

Stop spreading bad info and go back to getting some dope for the pot-heads at FSR.

Re: Is Asswood Giving You Overtime Pay to Post in Here, Shill?

> You have been exposed VEW! Sedano and Brick clear WEEI, the highest rated station in all of sports radio. SNR pays to put Bruno on another no name station in Boston that gets a ZERO share. You know what ZERO share means, the typical station that SNR pays to put Bruno on in a weak attempt to save their network. At least we know that Ashwood and ESPN make money unlike the sinking suburban Illinois trainwreck that is SNR. Last I looked Rome, Brick and Sedano are on in Philly, Indy, Tampa, and all of those other new Bruno markets. No one doubts that Bruno is better than anything that FSR or ESPN radio has in the mornings, the facts are that Tony B took a $400,000 paycut and now makes what he earned in 1993. His hiring has also put other hosts out of work at SNR because SNR makes NO MONEY and pays Brando, JB and other hosts to be on in markets that have no clearence. You should do your homework before you mess with the REAL DEAL!

Bruno is bitter about the way his show ended at FSR. He blew it and they had no choice but to let him go because he was very negative at work and took shots at Fox Sports Net. Once they dumped him on TV, he brought that negative energy to the radio.
You never hear negative comments from management or affiliates when it comes to Rome, Coward, Mike and Mike, Brick, Czabe and James Brown. Hopefully Tony has the energy to rebuild his reputation, because his affiliate base will never be significant at SNR. Also Dan Patrick sucks so bad that they had to pay Oberman to save his show. That is also a fact!

What Philly station is Sedano on?

Better yet, name a major market that Craig Shemon and James Washington are on in? Last time I checked Bruno cleared in LA, San Francisco, Philly and Boston, while Shemon is not on in any of the top 13.
