Tony Little passes

One of the really good guys in Tampa Bay radio has passed away. According to a Facebook post, Tony died in his sleep. Those who only heard Tony on the radio probably noticed his friendly and conversational, yet always polished delivery. Those of us who were lucky enough to work with him know that he was always a pleasure to be around and never let himself get down when things got frantic and the workloads kept getting greater. We're poorer for his loss but richer for his friendship.

Once again, I'm reminded of Groucho Marx's great quote "The good ones die young. The schlemiels live forever." Rest well, Tony.

I'm sorry I'm just seeing this now.

Tony was an incredibly friendly and positive person. I only knew him within the confines of 4002 West Gandy, but he was an absolute pleasure to work with who was as kind as he was gracious.

On the job, he was a soldier who pushed himself to do his best without losing his team-player perspective.

I wish his family condolences and comfort.
