Too Much Bob and Tom?

Is anyone actually going to pick this up. Bob and Tom are now offering 5 more hours of Bob and Tom from 12 A.M-5 A.M. So, for those of you keeping track that is five hours there, and another six hours if you count the "Bob and Tom Extra segments that air from 5 A.M-6 A.M and 10 A.M-11 A.M. That along with the actual live show 6 A.M.-10 A.M. So that is Bob and Tom from 12 A.M-11 A.M. I don't think it is a reach to say that is a little much devoting almost half of your programing to Bob and Tom.

What stations actually picked that up?

It is officially called "Bob & Tom All-Nighter".

Bob and Tom?

A very well produced and executed morning show. Not too hot to touch like Howard Stern. Still too hot for many. First time it ran in Southern Indiana many people were upset. They have mellowed either by choice or by edict since then.

No more Love Brothers?

Naw.... There are those who would really like to hear them at any hour just as there are those who would not like to hear them at all. What does it hurt?

I admire these guys for their comedy and humanity. Their charitable record stands on it's own. Of course, I won't be one of those who tune in at Midnite because I value sleep more....

can you pick them up in morganfield johnny r?

Bob and Tom are Funny... Its the only time I ever listen to Q-95..... I dont like their Classic rock format.

I have also heard that since B&T lose so many affiliates at 10am that talks are underway to possibly offer stations another 5 hours of programming starting at 10a. It would be hosted by a couple of B&T regulars.

Wow, that would be interesting an interesting developement. I wonder how many stations are looking to offer them another 5 hours. Also worth noting that already have their own 24 hour internet station on their website.

It remains to be seen/heard if listeners want that content for that long of a period. In a way as successful as it has been, I guess I can't blame them for trying to conquer other dayparts. But speaking for myself as a casual listener at best, I want a little more variety. It is a talented, quality bunch of people so I wish them the best.

Prior to cancelling them outright, WMMS-Cleveland was running B&T in the mid-day slot. I don't think it was very long, maybe a week, then WMMS pulled the plug.

It was a month. All of April 2008. It was also a tape delay of that days show. It was not what they are offering now. They were also forced out because the new guy they hired Shane "Rover" French wanted them gone. WMMS is still paying the contract, and will be for three years according to French.

Seems odd the flagship home station of the Bob and Tom show doesn't even run their programing over night.

Not really, they don't want to rename the station Bob and Tom.

But they could put it on WNDE overnight.
CC in Dayton is doing that the AM Drive edition of B&T is on WTUE but they air the overnight version on WONE/WIZE on the AM dial. I Dont think CC would take a 3rd Midwest sports talker out during overnight for a non sports show since WONE/WIZE is B&T overnight Now and WCKY airs its paid religious programing between 1 and 5:30am
