Too Much Campbell Coverage?

Was it just me, or did both Ch. 2 & Ch. 11 overplay the Campbell verdict on Friday night? Live coverage of each press conference, including one called by Campbell's family dog.

I realize he was a former mayor, but no other major market would give such coverage to a story like this. WAY overplayed, and poor news coverage on both of their parts. Fox 5 didn't do as much, which was a good thing. No wonder their numbers are on the rise.

Maybe the female anchors at 2, 5, and 11 will put away their Campbell pom poms when he is sentenced to the federal pen.

I cannot believe they do not realize the seriousness of the tax evasion charges. First, that is BS about him claiming it all for his speaking engagements. He is an extremely intelligent crook. In addition, Campbell did not look too happy while talking to the press because he knew what they have not realized yet. Come sentencing time, that old boy ain't gonna have the ability to practice law in these here United States. His arse is gonna be disbarred!

They must not put brains in them heads on reporters for them to utilize and think of the cutting edge questions they should be asking!

Hasn't the Campbell case been the only thing people in the Atlanta area have been talking about??
