Too Windy And Rainy...

L

It was too windy and rainy this weekend for the riggers to take down the second of the two towers at 750 South Street in Waltham. I took a few minutes on Saturday to go visit the site of the former WCRB-AM, WHET, WDLW and WRCA...there are still remenants of the tower that is now gone: the base and about 30- to 50 feet of steel are still there. I imagine that the intention was to bring the other one down on the weekend so as not to interfere with the denizens of the office park that takes up much of the site. So they may try again next Saturday...the eminence grise probably knows.
