Top 20 Countdown from 1983 on CBS-FM Last Night

I've never listened to CBS-FM last night where Jeff Mazie was doing the Top 20 Countdown from 1983. What is going on here?

The surveys are from Z-100 since it first hit the airwaves, but looked what happened to these songs "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash was a hit in New York as well as "Let the Music Play" by Shannon, "Time Will Reveal by DeBarge and many other songs that are just hits from 1983. I found this link here:

Just to credit the survey, the #1 song was "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie.
