Was Lite the right station to flip?

I don't think Jack will take away much audience from Extreme radio. The young males that listen to the hard alternative music on KXTE probably wouldn't be familiar with or interested in most of the music Jack plays.
Here's the question though. Would Extreme have been the better station for Infinity to put Jack on than Lite??? I have always heard KMZQ billed decently, plus how well will KXTE do when Howard is gone in a few months? This choice of stations will never cause the controversy of New York (WCBS-FM instead of WNEW) or Chicago (WJMK instead of WCKG), but it's still something to think about.
