Top 40 or R&B?

Seems like all 3 KHFI-Mix-Z stations now are heavy on the R&b wish they would start playing some pop top 40 format like it once was.

As far as Z106.7

The lastest rumor is that it's going R&B in the coming weeks. Whether it's an all out flip or a tweak nobody knows. Who knows what Cox has planned for 106.7.

Re: As far as Z106.7

It needs to be Hip Hop with reggaeton. I still don't understand why Houston has a Hurban station, Dallas has two, and san Antonio has none! That makes no sense to me.

i don't get why people don't think that there not top 40, they still have a lot of pop, and like some people said on the chr board, that pop means populur music and hip hop is populur right now<P ID="signature">______________

The CHR stations around the country, including KHFI here in Austin have always been a mystery to me. I just find it hard to believe that someone could enjoy listening to the same songs over (mostly heavy whining about relationships with women or men)and over with normally terrible DJ's. Also, the hip hop out there has gotten really bad!! I never really liked hip hop much, but it was better in the mid 90's in my opinion. Back in the old KMEL, KSFM and KWNN/KWIN days (college years)
