Amazing to think that San Francisco used to have the Largest NBC station not run by the Network "KRON 4" but like Boston, the former owners of KRON for whatever reason had an ax to grind with NBC over contract issues. That was until December 31,2001 When NBC took over KNTV and formed "NBC Bay Area"

Also in San Francisco KTVU (primary) and KICU(secondary Fox station when KTVU needs to air Breaking News) used to be the largest Fox stations not managed by by the network prior to 2014 when Cox was offered a deal with Fox to trade KTVU/KICU for WFXT Boston and WHBQ Memphis.

KPIX was once the largest CBS Station on the west coast not managed by the network until the Group W and CBS merger of 1995.

WPVI-TV was once the largest non ABC owned affiliate until 1980's when CapCites merged with ABC and became an ABC owned station in Philadelphia.

Top five CW non-O&Os, Tribune stations excluded:
1) WPWR Chicago (#3), FOX
2) WLVI Boston (#9), Sunbeam
3) KASW Phoenix (#12), Nexstar
4) WUCW Minneapolis (#15), Sinclair
5) WKCF Orlando (#18), Hearst

What are the top 5 CW WITH Tribune included? Tribune does not own a stake in The CW, so those stations are not CW O&Os. Only CBS-owned stations would be O&Os.

Well, of course WPIX-11 NYC and KTLA-5 Los Angeles, those are Tribune-owned, they are #1 and #2. Third on the list is CW's Dallas affiliate KDAF. WDCW and KIAH round out the top 5.

Top 4 ION non-O&Os, LPTVs and subchannels excluded:
1. WBNA Louisville (#49) Word Broadcasting
2. KTRV Boise (#106) Block Communications
3. KDMD Anchorage (#147) Ketchikan TV

Top 5 Univision non-O&Os, LPTVs and subchannels excluded:
1. WFDC Washington DC (#7) Entravision
2. WUNI Boston (#9) Entravision
3. WVEA Tampa (#11) Entravision
4. KUNS Seattle (#14) Sinclair
5. KCEC Denver (#17) Entravision

Top 5 Telemundo non-O&Os, LPTVs and subchannels excluded:
1. XHAS San Diego (#28) Televisa
2. KVDA San Antonio (#31) ZGS
3. KTMV Salt Lake City (#34) Serestar

2. KVDA San Antonio (#31) ZGS
3. KTMV Salt Lake City (#34) Serestar
4. KTUZ Oklahoma City (#41) Tyler Media
5. KNSO Fresno (#54) ZGS

So highly inaccurate.

XHAS is Televisora Alco a.k.a. Entravision
KVDA is an O&O
KULX is Salt Lake City, not KTMV. But it is Serestar.
KNSO is an O&O

Top 5 Univision non-O&Os, LPTVs and subchannels excluded:
1. WFDC Washington DC (#7) Entravision
2. WUNI Boston (#9) Entravision
3. WVEA Tampa (#11) Entravision

2. KVDA San Antonio (#31) ZGS
3. KTMV Salt Lake City (#34) Serestar
4. KTUZ Oklahoma City (#41) Tyler Media
5. KNSO Fresno (#54) ZGS

Keep in mind that both Univision and Telemundo rank markets based on Hispanic population HDA rank, not total market rank.

1. LA
2. NYC
3. MIA
4. Houston
5. Dallas
6. Chicago
7. San Antonio
8. San Francisco
9. Phoenix
10. Harlingen/McAllen
11. Sacramento
12. San Diego
13. Fresno
14. Orlando
15. Albuquerque

For those broadcasters, general market rank is not the standard.

Why are we excluding subs &/or LP's? If we included them Minneapolis would be in the top 5 for Univision and Telemundo
Univision would be #5 (market 15)...WUMN-LD MEDIA VISTA MINNEAPOLIS, LLC

Telemundo would be #5 (in fact your whole top 5 would be different)
KJNK-LD Minneapolis (#15) DTVAmerica

You must have told Trip up at RabbitEars, because the update page had changed. Over there, it says KNSO is going to Serestar.
http://www.rabbitears.info/updates.php?source=A

I don't know where you got your information, but it wasn't me, or if it was, you weren't paying attention. Based on what was in his post, I did fix:

KNSO: From ZGS to Serestar as operator, but the underlying license is held by NBC, as clearly noted in the listings

and

KVDA: Which was run by ZGS while NBC was owner, but is now fully O&O by NBC from what I can tell, and was also clearly noted in the listings

But XHAS has said "Entravision" consistently for a very long time, and Salt Lake City is KTMW, not KTMV, and in any case does simulcast KULX-CD, something else clearly noted in the listings (also evidenced by the fact the station is "Telemundo 10 Utah" and not "Telemundo 20 Utah").
