Mine are for Pittsburgh
1.WTZN B 94
2.WRRK Bob FM
3. 107.1 Sam FM
4. WDVE
5. WSHH Wish FM

My Top 5 of All Time:

1. WXRK in New York
2. WMMS in Cleveland
3. WYSP in Philadelphia
4. KROQ in Los Angeles
5. WRIF in Detroit

MMS is slowly losing their identity as of late. But ask anybody who posts in here and they will agree that it was one helluva station. As for XRK and YSP, I am not basing this on the FREE FM era programming. And most rock listeners will have WRIF and KROQ on their list.

Yeah it's a safe list.

1. WPGB (FM NEWSTALK 1047)
2. WBZZ B94-FM (Will give new B94 a try, though)
3. KQV 1410 (I can do the perfect impression of the one radio announcer...but I like it for the news)
4. KDKA AM 1020
5. WDUQ

Top 5 All-Time stations

1. KQLZ Los Angeles (Pirate Radio) Scott Shannon's greatest creation and only failure. Music couldn't keep up with the Rock 40 format.
2. WKBQ St. Louis Steve and DC in the morning before DC got really religious.
3. WDCG Durham-Raleigh Bob and the Showgram in the morning. Great radio station.
4. WHTZ New York City Hearing Ernie Anderson say shooting fire from the top of the empire and shaking the ground below, what a great presentation in the 80s and early 90s.
5. WKTI Milwaukee Legendary Hot AC. Good station and good people who work there.

Honorable Mention
WFLZ Tampa MJ Morning show is great.
WPLJ New York I am a huge fan of Scott Shannon radio.
WZPL Indianapolis Back in the late 80s it was a great station.
WBZZ Pittsburgh I grew up dreaming of working at the Killer Bee
WIYQ Johnstown For about a year it was a great station and yes I was doing mornings and the PD. Went from being behind Pittsburgh stations in Johnstown ratings to #3 in the market. Too bad the Sales Manager was making up Stealth Contracts.
WFBG Altoona In the 80s, that station was pulling 35-40 shares. Sean McKay before the arrest was the best morning guy I ever heard.

Top 5 of all time (we are talking from the 80's era).
1.WLAN FM 97 Lancaster. John St. John was the voice of God! One of the reasons I got in to radio.
2.WGLU GLU92 Johnstown. Mark St. John, no relation to the above and second voice of God.
3.WCAU Hot Hits 98 Philadelphia. The power DJ's, including Billy Burke, Glenn Kalina, Scott Walker, Rich Hawkins, Bob Garrett, Todd Parker, Terry "Motormouth" Young.
4.WRKZ Z107 Hershey. The ORIGINAL WRKZ playing country.
5.WYDD Y104 Pittsburgh. "Metro Music"

Top 5 Pittsburgh.
1.WDVE 102.5
2.WTAE 96.1 "O'Brien and Garry days"
3.WYDD
4.WMXP Mix Jamz 100.7 (Jocks from Altoona use to drive over here just to work air shifts on weekends.)
5.WJJJ The Beat 104.7

Yeh, I did forget about WIFI 92. that station did kick some butt in the 80's before it changed to WKTU and went country.

Yes, it was WXTU, and I never thought it would last as many years as it has playing country music. There were several good stations in Philly back in the day too, WFIL, WPEN, Hot Hits WCAU, to name a few.

My five would have to be: 1:WKMC-Roaring Spring (when they were rockin'),2: WTRN-Tyrone when Mean Gene jacked his jaws all nights 3: Lou Marhoffer's operation in Lewisburg when he called it "Town & Gown Radio"...it was a concept ahead of it's time, 4: The Loretto operation (AM 1400) when Tom Stevens was in charge, and 5: WMML in Portage when Chuck Bloom was doing their engineering and it was located above Wasko Hardware.

My Top 5 would have to be WNBC, New York in the 70's , WFBG, Altoona in the 70's , WNCC, Barnesboro(The Bill Bland era ) WDVE (Jimmy & Steve in the Morning)

Honorable mention goes to WPEZ, Pittsburgh.
