Whoa! You make some interesting points, but where do you come up with your statement about Linkin Park and their fans??? ??? "What I've Done" may not be the best song from them ever, but it's "only" number 1 at both Alternative and Active Rock radio so obviously someone must like it an awful lot. Seeing as how most of the band's fanbase is more tuned into Rock radio, it's fair to say at least some of their fans do like this latest offering by them.
Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" is a great record. Don't know how well it'll do, but it getting some airplay on L.A.'s 102.7 KIIS-FM (also went Top 10 in the UK).
As for Da Shop Boyz, a lot of CHRs are already finding it to be quite CHR friendly. It's already doing well at Rhythmic (bubbling outside the Top 10 there with the Most Increased Plays status). The majority of listeners on Rhythmic CHRs are women ages 18-34 so CHR/Pop tends to follow up on whats hot on crossover radio very closely. The song is more CHR/Pop friendly then Huey's "Pop Lock & Drop It", or even T-Pain's number one hit "Buy You A Drank".

The Linkin Park song has negative reviews EVERYWHERE. Go look anywhere online, "Linkin Park has lost their sound." is the only thing you will hear.

Saying Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" is a hit is like saying Lily Allen's "Smile" is a hit. It isn't because it isn't.

And I already explained my opinion on the Shop Boyz song.

I would hate to listen to a station you were programming. I tend to disagree with you much more than I agree. - CHR APD/MD

Congratulations. No one said you had to.

That would be why every time I see that he's spoken, I ignore it. I've heard of a Top 40 format, but I have never heard of the Top 186-221 format that he's running...

There nothing wrong with bags input . Its just his own Opinion . Bag7890 keep posting . A song can be Great to one person, and Trash to the next person .

I hate to sound like a know-it-all, because I'm not, but Cupid's Chokehold, Don't Matter, and Last Night become three huge hits, and I believe I was the only one who stated those would blow up at the time of their single release. Then again, although I personally don't think Party Like A Rockstar will be a hit, who really knows, it might just be, it's just a prediction. I'm just explaining CHRles my point of view. It's not that I made wrong predictions before (i.e. Beyonce - Irreplaceable, which I still think is a very annoying song)

Don't worry about - you're entitled to your opinion.
I got so tired of "Irreplaceable" a couple of months ago when it seemed like the song was on every 5 mins. Same deal currently with "Cupid's Chokehold" - i'm choking everytime it's no now :p
"Last Night" and "Dont Matter" on the other hand are still 2 of my favorites and I loved them, like you, from day one.

1) FERGIE - Big Girls Don't Cry (Personal) - Sure... it's the first Fergie song that doesn't totally make me feel like a creepy old man.
4) PLAIN WHITE T'S - Hey There Delilah - It could fit in
7t) AMY WINEHOUSE - Rehab - My girl Amy.. man, she's a trainwreck and a musical genius all in one. You can't beat that kind of star power. Give her guest spots on Leno and Letterman... (ugh... SNL is in reruns)... and she'll be the North American superstar that she deserves to be. This song is *so* ready for CHR/Pop.

I'm already sick of Pink's U & Ur Hand, Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend, I'm getting somewhat sick of Daughtry's Home, as well as Timbaland's Give It To Me and Justin Timberlake's Summer Love. I'm liking the new Maroon 5 still, I like Plain White T's as well as 30 Seconds To Mars-The Kill (Great album that they have) Lifehouse's new one First Time is pretty good too.

"Rehab" is a breath of fresh air. Our audience loves the groove and the wit in the lyrics. This one could be big.
