9. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE Lovestoned
10. CHE'NELLE F/BABY CHAM I Fell In Love With The DJ

12. QUIETDRIVE Time After Time
13. FABOLOUS Make Me Better (f/Ne-Yo)
14. HURRICANE CHRIS A Bay Bay
15. THE LAST GOODNIGHT Pictures Of You

IMO:
1. More radio friendly Avril Lavigne, more smash singles.

2. It's (very terribly, but I digress) experimental, and commercialized to death, and has a remix with Jay-Z, so it should be some sort of big hit.

3. Hot jam. Rihanna in the "Umbrella" music video...

4. I must say I'm loving it. Seems to be a quick adder, already blazing on Kiss Boston and KRQ Tucson. Took a couple of plays to grow on me but regardless it did.

5. Decent dance/summer song, I'm guessing an around #6-10 peak here.

6. Dry, stale, weak, bland, boring, dumb, need I go on?...with that said, it's a hit.

7. Interesting--seemly doing consistently well. It does have a good beat. How it will chart, probably the next few weeks will tell. If it does continue to do well it should peak in the top 20 bracket.

8. I haven't heard this one.

9. Oh, yippie, another Timberlake track, another number one. Why not just release his whole album as a single?

10. Haven't heard it. Based on the title I really don't want to.

11. You might remember them from light top 30 track "I'm Shakin'" back in 2004. I haven't heard this one but I'll have to look for it.

12. Much like #7, gaining consistently well. It's not brilliant, but not bad.

13. I had high hopes but this song was just OK. No guess on chart success yet.

14 and 15 I haven't heard.

1. AVRIL LAVIGNE When You're Gone
This song is pretty good. Its probably one of the few normal songs on her album.

2. AMY WINEHOUSE Rehab
It's alright, I really find it annoying.

3. RIHANNA Shut Up And Drive
She releases too many singles, she needs to take a break.

4. GOOD CHARLOTTE Dance Floor Anthem (I Don't Wanna Be In Love)
I love this one.

5. GYM CLASS HEROES Clothes Off
I like this one too.

6. LIL MAMA Lip Gloss
Haven't heard it.

7. DOWN Lean Like A Cholo
Haven't Heard it.

8. LIFEHOUSE First Time
I love this song. Their albums really good, songs you should watch out for are: "Who We Are" and "Disarray."

9. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE Lovestoned
I like this one.

10. CHE'NELLE F/BABY CHAM I Fell In Love With The DJ
Haven't Heard it.

11. ROONEY When Did Your Heart Go Missing
I like this one, it's catchy.

12. QUIETDRIVE Time After Time
This one is really good.

13. FABOLOUS Make Me Better (f/Ne-Yo)
It's alright.
14. HURRICANE CHRIS A Bay Bay
I don't think I'm going to like this one.

15. THE LAST GOODNIGHT Pictures Of You
Heard it a little bit. They sound like Blue October.

"A Bay Bay" is the worst song I've now ever heard.

I'd rather listen to "Party Like A Rockstar" 100 times with a drill in my ear then listen 5 seconds of it, if that gives you an image.

Yeha I'm not a big fan of "A Bay Bay" either, nor of "Lipgloss". "Clothes Off" by the Gym Class zeroe is also on my "not a fan" list.

Definitely diggin on Amy Winehouse and Fabulous. Also into Quietdrive, Good Charlotte, and Rihanna.
Avril's latest ain't bad though sounds like a Christian A/C record...

Justin's new one? Smash!

Rooney? Great Pop record

The Last Goodnight tune? Not half bad :)

Chenelle's "Fell In Love"? Might be a good novelty record for CHR radio.

Down's "Lean Like A Cholo" seems to mainly be working at Hispanic targetted Rhythmic CHRs, and hispanic targetted CHR/Pop KIIS-FM Los Angeles. It's not a very good Rap by any stretch of the imagination, which is why a lot of Hip Hop stations won't play it. Back in 1990 Mellow Man Ace came out with "Mentirosa". Now that was some fun Latin Hip Hop!

Lifehouse's latest? Okay I guess. Nothing to write home about.

There's another Rihanna song that B-96 Chicago is playing which I'm feeling - "Push Up On Me"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=NhZ2EpI23C8

Also loving KT Tunstall's "Other Side of the World"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=FTiLET_dAro

Pink "Leave Me Alone" is an all-out Pop smash
http://youtube.com/watch?v=1VbV5kEzWYM

Ultra-Cool song that prolly won't get airplay on American CHRs? TV Rock vs. Dukes of Windosr "The Others"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=n4pRf5tUoSo

Great Rhythmic track that CHR should be playing? Kelly Rowland "Like This"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=JJdpUD9DbfI

Hot record that might blow up at Rhythmic? Sean Paul "Watch Them Roll"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=yWmIk0LqyMk

Schmalzy record of the week that thankfully won't make it to American CHRs (though its currently number 2 in the UK)? Lee Mead "Any Dream Will Do"
http://youtube.com/watch?v=vdxnKURAamA

Kelly Rowland's song is the jam. P!nk's "Leave Me Alone" probably won't do anything yet...the record company instead replaced it with a re-release of "Who Knew" which is also the jam.

I looked up "Lean Like A Cholo" and pretty much agree, should go top 20/30-ish, a song that will be a smash in some markets yet completely fail in others--again much like "U & Dat" from last year which went a bit higher but didn't do much outside of KIIS and other Hispanic markets.

Fabolous is gaining on me a bit. The thing is--it sounds a lot like Bow Wow's "Outta My System". (Which only went top 20 but I still think that record was and is underrated.)

1. AVRIL LAVIGNE When You're Gone
Haven't heard yet, I'm afraid to.

2. AMY WINEHOUSE Rehab
Good to hear something like this on CHR, and it's gaining plays quickly. Top 10 hit for sure

3. RIHANNA Shut Up And Drive
Another unique sounding song quickly rising to the top

4. GOOD CHARLOTTE Dance Floor Anthem (I Don't Wanna Be In Love)
Haven't heard, but I have a feeling it won't do well based on their mediocre debut single "The River", which was actually a great song.

5. GYM CLASS HEROES Clothes Off
One of the best bands out right now, they're on fire, this song should be successful but not as big as "Cupid's Chokehold."

6. LIL MAMA Lip Gloss
Will be huge, horrible song though.

7. DOWN Lean Like A Cholo
Heard this a few times, sounds great, but shouldn't go higher than top 30

8. LIFEHOUSE First Time
It's OK, but I think another single from their new album should do better.

9. JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE Lovestoned
Pretty good song, but it won't go far. "Until the End of Time" will probably be his next big hit.

10. CHE'NELLE F/BABY CHAM I Fell In Love With The DJ
Haven't Heard it.

11. ROONEY When Did Your Heart Go Missing
Haven't heard this, "I'm Shakin" was pretty good though.

12. QUIETDRIVE Time After Time
Wow, I am SHOCKED this even cracked the top 40, we don't need another remake of this song. It will start losing spins soon though.

13. FABOLOUS Make Me Better (f/Ne-Yo)
Very boring song in my opinion, a lot of people are expecting more than this from Fabolous. Top 20 at very best

14. HURRICANE CHRIS A Bay Bay
This song has had a lot of buzz for awhile, I personally like it, don't know why, but this song will be HUGE (it already is)

15. THE LAST GOODNIGHT Pictures Of You
Not familiar with this band
