Did anybody track the top songs on ATLANTA RADIO for 2005? My top 5 would have to be:

5. Badd -- Mike Jones, featuring the Ying Yang Twins

4. Disco Inferno -- 50 Cent

3. This Is How We Do -- The Game, featuring 50 Cent

2. We Belong Together -- Mariah

1. Gold Digga -- Kanye West, featuring Jamie Foxx

I wonder how much Ray Charles would have appreciated his song "I Got A Woman" twisted like Kanye and Jamies Foxx have done it. It's very smart business wise but I don't think Brother Ray would take kindly to it considering how negative and exploitive it is to women. just looking at the video makes me want to throw up. But I can't get the tune and beat out of my head. Guess it is a double edged sword.

What are you talking about? For all intents and purposes, it's the same song if you dissect and examine the messages of both. That, and we know Brother Ray loved the ladies himself--so if Mr. Robinson was amongst the living, I doubt he should be one to complain.

I wouldn't quite say that. Kanye West is just fed up with a lot of today's women using their man for money, and he tried to be as subtle as he can. Frustration's got to be expressed somewhere.

Yeah, that was the major difference between the two...Ray stepped out on his wife on the regular, but he really 'respected' the women he cheated with. Riiight.
