Here's our offer Gumpdusky - we'll take KAZG off your hands if you take the '76 Gremlin off ours! Nurse Jeff did a little research and tells me the closest station on 1440 at night is in Riverside with a direction antenna. Of course his knowledge of espanol no es muy bueno, so he can't tell if there's a blowtorch south of la frontera. We'd offer more, but 52 watts at night just doesn't cut it. That means a directional tower or two in the lumberyard to protect 1430 and 1450 from sideband splatter. Of course any more RF next to the metal shed will keep our CE busy. So let us know..it'll take the Nurse a couple of weeks to remove the Ladmo bags and french fries from under the seats!

I dunno, sounds to me like you'd be getting the short end of the stick on this one. At least a '76 Gremlin is capable of going places and gives Buckeye a little touch of class.

I'll take the Ladmo Bags off your hands. The Twinkies should still be good.

I got a buddy who has a car repair spot about 2 doors down from the transmitter, I'm sure he would sublease some space to ya for some antenna boosting doo-hickeys.

Hmmmm...we'll keep him in mind if Gumpdusky takes the Gremlin in trade. The Nurse and I are contemplating a Scottsdale tribute to Gordon McLendon's legendary KLIF night xmttr site. Not familiar with that early version of Metallica? 12 towers and 5,000 watts of the Mighty 11~Ninety headed right toward Terlinqua, Texas! Small planes mistook the site for a landing strip. YIKES!
