Top Three Former Buffalo Radio Personalities

A good point was made in this forum that many of the people who cherish KB don't actually live in the area. A lot of transplants long for the days of what they remember, thus the soft spot in many hearts for the old 'KB.

Putting a spin on this topic, give me your top three former Buffalo radio personalities who used the good city as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. There are dozens to be sure, but give me your top three in the following categories: pre-1970, post-1970.

There's only one that I can remember much about.
WBEN's Mike Mearian.

Yeah, I remember WKBW's Danny Neavereth and a few others,
but just by name. WGR had just become top-40 before we
left town, and I had already stopped listening to rock
& roll as a young teenager.

I'm talking mid-60s.
