It looks like calmer heads have prevailed, at least for awhile, over at the new Neilson Media. Found this in my email In Box:
"Total Line Reporting will continue to be available to simulcasting stations-both subscribers and non-subscribers-for the Winter 2014 survey in Diary markets, and for the January, February, and March 2014 report periods in PPM markets."
More to it than that of course but it looks like some Neilson folks might be reviewing some Arbitron decisions made in the last days of their reign.
