Total Nonstop Action Wrestling being courted by MyNetwork TV and ......

BRAV ???

Yes, the NBC-U cable network wants to consider putting it on it's network

along with MyNetwork TV as negoiations are ongoing with Spike for a renewal.

I think that it's time TNA tests the waters and demand for a timeslot against

Monday Night Raw on USA. With TNA's product tanking now, it would be an easy

victory for McMahon to win. Then he can purchase TNA and sell a bunch of

retroactive DVD's in which the former TNA superstars can claim that it was

AWFUL to work in and how Jeff Jarrett sucked as a booker.

And if I were the WWE, I would be really mad that another NBC-U Cable network

wants to talk with the another wrestling promotion.

Who knows, I could see TBS/TNT on the horizon in 2007-2008 ;D!

...just shows how far Bravo has fallen since NBC bought them. They'd even be further ahead by getting XCW Wrestling away from MavTV (any outfit that uses the old PCW production facilities and features a wrestler calling himself Necro Butcher would be a natural for a Friday or Saturday Night "Grindhouse Horror" block)...

You'll never see wrestling on Bravo, especially a non-WWE product. Pretty sure Vince has exclusivity on NBCU outlets.

TNA has floundered and neither has the capital nor the talent to take it to the next level. Even the ad-hoc regional promoters of the NWA want no more part of them, as this promotion has held up the NWA World Heavyweight Title and Tag Team titles exclusively for the promotion.

Look for the NWA to depart TNA next spring at the latest...and look for Vince McMahon to cut a check to the NWA for them to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship, where a title match will be held at Wrestlemania 24 between Ric Flair and another opponent...thus allowing Flair to retire with a "World Title". (McMahon did this with the NWA North American title, which was battled over by Jeff Jarrett and Barry Windham, and the North American titles which were held briefly by the Rock N Roll Express , both under the WWE sanction)

Irony? Pretty delicious for McMahon, as the strap would garner more ppv buys in a single airing on the WWE, from Orlandos Citrus Bowl... than most of the TNA ppv buys...that were held less than 3 airmiles away at Universal.

Look for this to be a "last minute" add to next years WM24.Book it.
