Part of doing a show is doing something to create BUZZ about your show.
No Atlanta show has done ANYTHING news worthy. This bit was a classic. They didn't harm anyone. They didn't do anything illegal. It's getting national attention. Perfect!
Although... this could end up getting them fired. I'm sure the special interest groups will find a reason to harass the station for what they did.

All the effort the Clinton campaign spent on advertising etc was nothing compared to the boost from this bit. Remember 2 days ago the buzz was that hers was a sinking ship and now the NH primary was a surprising upset. It's because of this bit and the crying question.
This was certainly a way to generate buzz for your radio show but the fact remains that they are boring and uninteresting on air. There's never any buzz along the lines of 'hey, those guys are interesting', it always seems to be 'hey, they got mentioned in the news' or a new user on radio-info cross posting in order to get their name out there.

Toucher and Rich were here! 99x could've taken a chance and hired them to replace the Morning X but were too dumb to see the upside. Toucher and Rich's next stop will be mornings somewhere.
Despite the rather bizarre comparison to Brett Favre.....I have a great deal of respect for Inside YOur Radio. Most people in his situation (started out with Toucher at a small station, Touchers star grows while Inside wallows on the weekend at CC never getting the break he thought he deserved) would grow bitter towards the person that eclipsed him. Not the case with Inside Your Radio. That's maturity. Part of growing up is accepting your limitations.
