Toucher and Rich move to mornings

So... former Atlanta jocks Toucher, Rich, and Crash will move to mornings at WBCN Boston after BCN decided to get rid of Opie And Anthony in the morning.

Congrats! I'm still surprised 99x didn't hand over the morning show to Toucher back in the day.

Toucher is a solid afternoon and evening jock (he owned nights at 99x), but his schtick didn't/doesn't work in the morning. Maybe he's got it figured out this time around.

Toucher, Jimmy, and Leslie had a pretty decent sounding show by the time their stint ended. Definitely not as harsh and juevenile as when they started. Unfortunately, the Dickeys - in their infinite small market worthless stock wisdom - had already decided Fred had no future. Such visionaries.

Agreed....his comedy worked for the high school/college aged crowd and wouldn't exactly call them the target audience for AM drive.

Still, glad that he keeps moving on up.

I am surprised. The post is a day and a half old and not one mention of when are they going to syndicate them on Dave. A year ago that is all you would have heard on this board.

In the past Deadman would have been the first to spread the news. I guess it just shows how Dave is off everyone's radar as we await their new PD.

I stayed in town but took the week off. Hardly touched a computer. No topics of great interest to me so was uninspired to post. Did you rally expect me to post 300 posts to catch you. What am I some kind of oldies freak or country fan. I was more surprised to see that Neil hasn't caught me yet.

BTW the board has been less tense lately since the new ratings came out and 106.7 was exposed for the lsing format it is. I know I wasn;t the only one who was being driven crazy by all of this obsessive oldies falsehoods. ;D
