Good riddance, Toucher!
The last two weeks on 99x have been BEYOND pleasant! If Toucher DOES get a gig in Phoenix, you guys, too, will grow tired of his incessant rants, all-about-me attitude and no-one-else's-opinion-matters-except-mine schtick! Our gain is your loss! Get lost, Toucher! The sooner, the better for Atlanta radio!
On the other hand, you're VERY lucky to get someone like Rich Shirtenleib. He's a great on-air personality and will be a major player in radio for many years to come. A McEachern High School grad, he's always dreamed of getting his own show and deserves it more than anyone I can think of. He's gutsy, original (you'll learn that most of Toucher's "bits" are poached from other shows), funny and interesting. We missed him when he went to Dallas and the Kidd Kraddock show. Would love to have had him back at 99x to REPLACE Toucher, but it wasn't to be. I wish him the best of luck.
