I did once out of the curiosity factor. They had some stunt guy with a hidden mike going into some place like Banana Republic pretending to have a urinary incontinence problem. Trying on pants .... soiling them, apologizing to the store help, then trying on more pairs of pants and wetting them again until they asked him to leave.

Good to hear they are "recreating" bits done on the (real) Morning X. I remember hearing Barnes and Rich do that bit at Phipps, years ago.

Ummm.. no. Rich Shertenlieb did all the crazy bits from the old morning x. They are his ideas.
I listen to 'BCN during their show almost daily. It is the most entertaing show on radio period and
#1 Afternoon Drive show in Boston.
Those are some wacky guys! Boy, somebody ought to do a visual edition of this bit. Maybe add to it by getting some other guys to ride down steep hills in shopping carts. Maybe even have a bunch of guys that are good friends hit each other in the groin. Of course, put it on a youth oriented network because you old people dont get this brand of comedy genius and get someone videogenic hunk like Fred Toucher to host it because, hey, look at the guy. Smokin' hot as the young girls say. Yum. In fact, lets get Fred to host and if he can't do it lets get a second-rate Toucher in there, Clooney, Pitt, Leto.
And when the Minister of Fred Toucher Propaganda (Deadman!) says the Toucher and et al show are #1 in Boston you know you can trust those #'s. #1 straight across the board in all demos. Men, women, 18-34, 25-54 and of course all the side demos like 25-49, 18-24, 25-34. There's a bunch of demos and,without doubt because I read it from Deadman, err, the Minister of Propaganda 'scuse me sir, then it's true. Get over yourselves all the rest of you people that dont pray at the altar of Fred Toucher....peeing your pants in a J. Crew HILARITY FOLKS!

Actually mr. guacomole sir, it's not deadman who is saying they are #1....it's a little called Arbitron that is saying it. Perhaps you've heard of them?

who is toucher and why would I stream a Boston show?
A josh dickey name of Fred Toettcher who at one time was on the air in Atlanta. Something of a shock jock. Seems to of done well in Beantown.
And this will enrich your life how exactly? That's what I thought. But good for them. If they're doing as well you say (I remember you touting them #1 Men 25-44 in a book, or was it a trend?) then they are making inroads. But you gotta say that if being #1 Men 25-44 is what it takes to replace Opie and Anthony then they didnt have much going for them in the 1st place.
I also remember Deadman telling anyone who'd listen what a great show the New Morning X with a cast of thousands was. It was so great Sean Demery left it. Deadman, you know Demery. You know why he really left and it wasnt the stated reason he gave on the radio. C'mon...be fair

Deadman regurgitated the Demery reason right on this board. I still call BS. Sean left a sinking ship. I don't know what his wife does but if he was about to go on a successful run here in Atlanta she would have moved here don't you think?
It is stock for Sean when he quits/see te writing on the wall to sight family reasons for laving his job. His act wears thin.

What's the conspiracy theory? The guy quit a low-rated morning show because he realized he couldn't contribute anything of value. I heard on those exact airwaves of 99x sean state one morning that he doesn't care if the gig works out. He is not going to sweat it. He came to Atlanta he tried no loss if it doesn't work out. You can tell Jenners was a little taken aback. Like hey buddy I moved my family up here to make a go at this not to to work with some nonchalant guy who can care if the show makes it or not. Even Leslie's voice when up a couple of octaves. Sean tried to explain it as hey it's a job. I have had other jobs and I will have more in the future. No biggie.
Trying to get Deadman to take off his blinders about, well, everything is impossible. He says he knows Sean yet...apparently Sean didnt tell him why he really left. He did tell me. I thought you knew, that he'd tell you. Sorry Deadman, I guess Sean likes me more.
