Tour of WWOD studio!

This is DJ/ MadLad who used to work for WJJS and WLLL! Phil and anyone else who would like to see the studios of WWOD on Mimosa drive in Lynchburg...listen up. I tracked down the owner of the building to see if there was any old radio's for my collection. I took pictures while I was there...makes you want to cry!! A real-estate developer is getting ready to tear down the building to make way for high-end houses in the area. This is the same thing that happoned to the old WLVA site recently! This could be happoning as we speak! Anyone who wants copies of the pictures e-mailed to them let me know...I'll do a massive e-mail mailout to you. [email protected] Da' Lad!

I use to work there in 1973 and have posted some 1973 airchecks of WWOD and WBRG along with some 1973 photos of the WWOD Studios on Mimosa Drive.

I loved this Post Rick....I come from a very very similar station that ended up in about the same situation as in the pictures you posted.
The airchecks, similar too.

Phill Beckman was able to get back inside and take soem more photos of theinterior and exterior of WWOD at the end of July 2007.
