The 2018 tower side calendar is out and is very interesting for Western Pennsylvania.a lot of anniversaries .January 23rd 1973 WQED FM signs on,February 4th 1963 WYDD now WP GB signs on .March 1st 1958 WTAE Channel 4 begins broadcasting .March 8th 1948 WJAS FM Now WSHH begins broadcasting .May 25th 1948 WBVP Joins the airwaves .July 14th 1953 WKJF TV53 Begins its short life .July 19, 1948 WKJF FM now KDKA FM Comes to life .August 2nd 1968 WASP roundville begins its 40 year lifespan .September 26th 1978 WPTT TP22 Now WPMY begins life .Those are Only the few stations in Western Pennsylvania Celebrating milestone anniversaries .
