Tower Site Of The Week

Professor Fybush from Rochester (as in Kodak, not "hold the Mayo") is featuring
the Phoenix market this week in his Tower Site of the Week:

http://www.fybush.com/sites/2010/site-100723.html

And he didn't forget the Lumberyard! :)

Last week's regifted KT'R 620 feature is linked at the bottom, and Scott promises
more Phoenix next week too. All from his April 2009 visit.

Nor did he think he'd bring a tear to the eyes of the Middle Eastern Men of the Media as the photo of Lumberyard 14~Forty has the Ponderosa Lumberyard clearly in view! From that angle, KAZG doesn't look like quite the dump it is! The Nurse and I've often wondered why the KSUN stick is so tall for 14~Hundred...kinda reminds us of the tall stick for KayOhWhy 12~Thirty. And has Professor Fybush moved the site of the old KayOhWhy 5~Fifty xmttr site to 16th Street & Camelback? We thought it was at 12th St & Camelback where everyone looks for the car on the roooooof!

If you'd seen Prof. Fybush typing furiously in the passenger seat of the Gremlin - er, Honda Odyssey - as Mrs. F. drove us north to Michigan Friday morning, you'd know why KayOhWhy accidentally got moved four blocks east. (And why Thomas Road somehow became Thomas Avenue en route to the Lumberyard...)

All better now, with thanks to the guys in fezzes and to Oldies6479, too.

And a tip of the fez to the Prof for taking care of bidness! So perhaps he can splain why that KSUN stick is so big for a Class C at 14~Hundred. If the Nurse and I didn't know better, we'd think it was at 6~Hundred on the dial or someone slipped some Enzyte into the ground system out there

Professor Fybush comes through with part two of his Phoenix visit...

Next week: Tuscon Tucson. ;) I don't know, its airport code is TUS--is that why
it gets misspelled so often? Waiting with great anticipation to see if Scott included
what used to be known and loved as the Giant 580 in his trip south. It's just not
the same now as El Gigante Cinco Ochenta. ::)

Si, senor...indeed, both 580 sites, new and old, will be featured when the Tucson stuff starts rolling next week!

Memo to Dr. Akbar's better half to put a pretty frame around such a picture.

He's already put that image on a t-shirt (hope Prof Fybush doesn't have a copyright on the photo). We're anxiously awaiting coverage of Tucson's Giant 5~Eighty and hoping there's a picture of the legendary Dancin' Dan Babich!
