New Hampshire Townsquare Media Ad Blocker

Is it all about saving money?Townsquare thinks I have an Ad Blocker and I don't think I do.
How would that be about saving money? They want you to see their ads so they get the impressions. That's how you make money online.

As a web developer, my guess is there is something in your browser (could be cache, settings, cookies, old browser version) that is blocking their javascript. Without knowing anything about your setup it would be impossible to troubleshoot. But I would first recommend rebooting your device, then remove all cookies and cache. But if you're using an older device that may not matter.

Also, if you're using a browser like Brave or are using Firefox/Edge in private mode or Chrome incognito, it might be blocking ads by default.

Something I've always disliked about Townsquare is that it forces you to visit the station website to stream on a desktop or laptop machine. I get why it does that, but it usually just assures that I don't listen to Townsquare stations at work. I am, however, glad it's no longer so repressive against aggregators on some other devices. You can listen to Townsquare stations on Roku, Alexa, and even Apple Music without downloading station specific apps or RadioPup. Townsquare is available on all three through TuneIn and Audacy and has added its stations to Alexa's regular directory so you no longer have to add each station as a skill.

It likely has to do with your browser. I haven’t updated my software in a while, and if you don’t, certain sites/streaming providers may not exactly work. AmperWave, which is what TSquare and Saga use, isn’t currently working for me.
