TownSquare moving shore stations to Toms River??

There is a sign in Downtown Toms River where the Observer used to be something about Townsquare, blah, blah, blah. Are they finally having all of the cluster in one place? Is this because the Monmouth stations have no home? Nice location actually. Anyone know details? Just curious. BE BIG!

Lease is up on the Seaview Square digs, and there is no more room for anything in Bayville. So everyone is being put under one roof from what I am told in TR where all the stations can be monitored easily.

Kinda makes sense...and perhaps could actually make Toms River get a little more cache...ala Red Bank...But imagine...the MONMOUTH stations coming from OCEAN County now. I never thought I'd live to see that happen! But this is a sensible move from an obviously sorta sensible company. And I'm right up the road...literally.

WHy not? They have many of the syndicated TV shows coming from Stamford, CT. NBC SPorts is moving their entire operation there as well. It doesn't matter where it is from anymore.

Most people don't even realize there north cluster is broken up into 2 offices (Ocean & Bayville) so there putting those together.... They suck anyway and are clueless as to what there doing. Take it from a past employee.

Looking for some clarification, are they tearing or did they tear down the old Observer building to build a new Townsquare structure in its place? Or is Townsquare moving into the Observer building?

They are moving/have already moved into the existing building ...

Which stations have moved to Toms River?

While it's not reflected on any of their websites, I believe WCHR (105.7 The Hawk) & WJLK (94.3 The Point) have already moved into the building ..
WOBM-FM (92.7), WOBM (1160) and WADB (1310) haven't moved in yet ..

Thanks for the info, Tom ..
I had seen on the Facebook feeds of WCHR & WJLK about a week or so ago something about having been in the new building, so I thought they were already in there ..

I used to work in that building, it really needs renovations. Mold problems among other issues. Part of the reason the Ocean County Observer and Asbury Park Press moved down the road to the Route 37 facility back in '07 or '08.

No one has moved to Toms River yet. The building renovations won't be done for months.

All of the radio vehicles are gone except for one. The place looks empty.
