Trading (but not in same format)

HI all.
When in Bensalem for good, I can record to mp3 for anyone.
However I do not wish to recieve mp3 airchecks in return.
Do you guys ever trade in different formats?
If I were to let's say record a full cd of mp3 airchecks for someone, should there be some sort of standard that I should ask for in return on Audio cd or cassette?
Just curious about your thoughts on the whole thing.
Since so many of the frequent traders trade via mp3, I am willing to record to the format for them, however I will continue to only except audio CD and cassettes for the return trades.

Hi John,

Most guys that I have traded with don't care whether it's the same format or not. Doesn't matter to me either. The only issue for me is if it's on cassette it's much harder to convert it to CD or MP3. It can be done, but takes about 3 times as much energy, so I'm not always willing to do that - I will only if I have time.

Format doesn't matter to me eithier, except my computer is too old to record MP3s, and I can only send out cassettes. I'm pretty new at this, most of you probably don't know who I am!! I'm in Memphis, have a small collection that I'm looking to grow but I have to do it the old fashioned way....

Email me at pmglass at bellsouth dot net if you'd like some Memphis stuff, or some of the older stuff I've traded for. On cassette, of course.

Just so everyone knows, I did a very good trade with Patrick, and he was always in touch, and is reliable. I got everything when he said I would, and was very happy with our trade. Matt<P ID="signature">______________
