I was watching an episode of Trading Spaces over the weekend and noticed that Paige Davis was not in the show? Was she just absent for this one show or is she gone?

She is no longer part of the show. This started a few months ago.

They purchased a stopwatch and no longer need her to whine that "Time's Up!"

Some have speculated that Davis will be involved in a new home show next fall with Oprah wonderkin Nate Berkus.

At some point Paige Davis was doing off Broadway touring, specifically Chicago. I think I saw something about this as early as April. Hope that helps

Due to declining ratings, TLC opted to revamp the original version of "Trading Spaces" a few months ago by going to a host-less format that spends more time with the designers and the competing teams. Also, each team now has its own carpenter, rather than splitting the services of one carpenter for both rooms.

It's reported that Paige Davis has a development deal for a new talk show (I think it's with King World, but I'm honestly not sure).

The network has opted to leave "Trading Spaces Family" alone, retaining host Joe Farrell and the older format of $1,000/two days/one carpenter for each room.

not only THAT..but Joe Farrell will be looking for new employment.."trading Spaces Family" was among the TLC produced Home improvement shows cancelled..
Only "While You Were Out" and "Trading Spaces" will remain.
