So I guess everything is closed now here in Dallas? I heard a rumor that McCarty was roaming the halls of Clear Channel/Metro....... (That's why I asked) That just leaves Clear Channel doing local traffic producing, right?

Matt McCarty has more professionalism in his pinky than the entire Metro management staff possesses. Sorry to hear he moved over there. I notice, yet again, Metro is trying to hire talent. Does anyone even answer their ads anymore, knowing what they pay and how they treat employees?
I received a call today from a fellow colleague about this topic. I did get a call from that group and stopped by the office to hear their offer..... I guess this is where the story strays..... I am NOT working for that organization. I appreciated the call and offer; however, I had a little birdie on my shoulder saying WALK AWAY...... sounded alot like J mac.

Good move, Matt. Having worked for that company, I can assure you, walking away was the wisest thing you could do. I did morning shows for 42 years (your dad was my "fill-in" at ABC) and by the time I ended up at Metro and got to Miami, I found I could make more (and get treated better) by retiring and collecting Social Security. That's sad and the company is a great example of the "biz" today!
