Dave,
That must have been my father....or not. I'd still be doing an Irish show if a station wanted it, and if I could afford it. Any word from the Wickford Tree Frog (Franz Laubert)?
Mike

Hi Mike,

Not a thing from Franz Heinrich Laubert since he was News Director at 99.3 when it first went on the air as WBLQ. Last anyone heard, he was selling cars in Norwich CT.

I'm stretching memory here, so forgive, please, if I have mixed people up:

As I recall, "Mike Sheridan" was an air-name used by he who was doing airborne traffic for WJAR when I was flying around with Bobby Thornton as he flew (Eastair) traffic for WPRO. I never did the traffic, since I was working at WLKW at the time, just did some of the flying. If so, and that's you (it would have been around 1975-77), then you may recall Art, Ray, Dave..Brooke, Ginny, etc...of course, Chuck. That's the time when "Mike Sands" was part of the short-lived folk group.

If so, I do maintain contact with Dave but have lost track of all the others. If that might have been your dad, please pass this on to him; it might awaken some fun memories.

Les,
I started in September, 1982, (I was 6), and the other MS was no relation. Seeing Mike Sands on video brought back a lot of memories.
Mike
