Tragedy strikes Rick Burgess and his family

Rick, from the Rick and Bubba Show, lost his 2 year old son this weekend. It was an accident in a swimming pool. Here's the post from their website...

"We ask that you bathe Rick, Sherri, and the entire Burgess family in prayer as they deal with the loss of their youngest son, Bronner Burgess.
We all are grieving together in this terrible loss.

The Burgess's want to give all Honor and Glory to GOD for the many blessings He has given us, especially the life of Bronner Burgess. And while we do not understand, we know who is in charge and His will be done in life and in death."

Rick and I haven't spoken much since we stopped working together many years ago but if you see this Rick...my family and I are praying for you. I won't pretend to understand what you're going through but if there is anything I can do...
 
That is so sad.
We'll be praying for you, Rick and family that the Lord will give you comfort and strength in this very difficult time.

This is a very heart breaking experience the family is going through. I couldn't and don't even want to imagine what they must be going through. My sister went through this and she has never been the same. Rick...your family is in my prayers. God Bless you. Heaven needed another angel.
 
As a father I can't imagine the pain this family must be feeling. My family as well as my church family will be praying for the Burgess's.
 
There are probably no words to explain how incredibly sad this must be for Rick and Sherri. Please send your prayers their way. God always has a plan and sometimes it is hard to understand, but being the faithful christians they are, I am sure they have put this is his hands.

My prayers go out to your family.

This is very sad news. I also don't know Rick other than the times I've heard the show. I've heard his children on there with him and I know him to be a very proud dad.

My heart breaks for this family. I personally don't know Rick but I have heard nothing but good things. Our staff at the radio station are praying for their comfort. This is a real tragidy!!!
 
My prayers are with rick and sherry and the kids, I worked with rick ,bill and sherry at waax and wqen in gadsden in the early 90s sherry was in the news dept. and rick and bill on the fm and bill was the chief eng. I worked some on the fm and as time went on some on the am waax and helped bill in the eng. dept. great people all of them Bill is a ham radio op.and thanks to him and his help I have been a ham soon to be 15 years. You cant find better people than rick & sherry and bill bubby & betty lu . Again rick & sherry OUR PRAYERS are with you. scotty & penni morgan caribou me.
 
Praying for you Rick. Always been impressed with your show, and I know your faith will pull you through.

I lost twin grandbaby boys two weeks ago. Hard to deal with, but with God all things are possible. Our boys are in heaven now, much better off than we are!
