Train wrecks

"Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days of Summer" by Nat King Cole, on the mornng show, followed by "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin. I can only hope America's Best Music stays away from that second one.

When #2 boy was little I had to play Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" on his player before he would go to sleep. It has always been one of my favs as well.

"Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days of Summer" by Nat King Cole was popular in my senior year of high school and has also been a great wind-me-up song.

I like both of those songs....I just don't wanna hear them in the same setting. :)

I will admit one doesn't flow into the other but REALLY??? Fire a PD for playing them back-to-back? I don't think so Tim.

"America's Best Music" routinely plays train wrecks. A standard followed by an oldie or something from the 80's onward. There are few pure standards stations out there anymore. WLML in Palm Beach is one of the few. I haven't heard Music Of Your Life lately. I'm sure it's the same thing over there/

This is nothing unusual, but a real train wreck would have two songs that are completely opposite.

Since I've heard Music of Your Life has "One" by Three Dog Night, I wouldn't be surprised.

Okay, off topic but I just had to say it.

"Cherry Pie" by Warrant followed by "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson.

I know, Jack stations specialize in train wrecks. But even Harrison Ford wouldn't care for that one.
