Translaters?

In rolling around my radio dial lately, i'm noticing a lot of translators missing from the air. Specifically , the WAY-fm translator in Cullman (98.1) (admitingly, i might not have remembered the frequency, i kept finding jamz...i think ) - and the QLT translator near Huntsville on 106.9 -- hat according to radio mobile utilizes the 92.5 talk transmitter tower.

Any comments? Am I right or wrong.. ?

Last time I checked,Thursday, 98.1 was still on air in Cullman. Their signal wasn't too great near Good Hope, but was decent near CRMC. WQLT's 106.9 tx'lr has probably been off air for several months now. I can usually hear 106.9 The Eagle w/o a problem to Madison, except for a brief area near Exit 334 due to 105.3 W287AD (1310 WKZD's co-located FM counterpart) being about 300' from the interstate.

I also believe WQXD 97.9's "God's Country" is gone from Trinity's 96.5 tx'lr. It has also been off air for around a year.

I usually keep WBPT on in my car, and i never even knew there was ever a translator on 106.9 near Huntsville, only interference i have ever gotten on 106.9 is from Kicks 106.9 in the Cookeville TN area.
