Translator Activity in Jackson

Toward the bottom, it mentions WIIN (780). What does this company have to do with that station?

New South Radio owns WIIN-AM, along with WUSJ, WYOY and WJKK. Sounds like they are planning on using the newly acquired translator for WIIN. That means an end to the US96.3 simulcast they are doing right now. Maybe they'll put on the AAA format that WJXN 100.9 was running?

In that same filing, it is also interesting to note that they are planning on moving WYOY 101.7 FM to the Beasley Road tower and taking down the backup antenna for 94.7...

What's inside the old studio, since Klove took over and KXI was sold? The last time I was there it still had 94TYX and 13KXI in the building.

It's boarded up. The building is up for sale now. Of course, WKXI hasn't been in the building for maybe over a decade now. They might've moved out in the late 90s.

Since Y101 will move to the Beasley Road tower, are they still gonna stay at 50K watts and what are they gonna do with their current tower?

I thought 1300 AM was at that studio. Is it still there or in a seperate building? Doe's 93.9 and 94.7 originate from the transmitter?

1300 is on Pear Orchard with the rest of the ICBC stations. 93.9 & 94.7 are both direct fed at the transmitter sites.

I hope that 780 will return to The Music of Your Life. That was their format prior to being a Spanish-language station. This was also the former format for WJXN.
