translator on 106.3 now live

Speaking of 106.3, there's a 3,000 watt Urban AC that's on that frequency out of London called "Magic 106.3". Not sure if it's causing any interference or not. Even for an LPFM, that's kind of close proximity. What's up with CC throwing two LPFMs on the air rebroadcasting the exact same thing? I'm surprised they haven't used at least one of them to repeat WLW, at least for the Cincinnati metro.

That is what I thought. Of course there is always the possibility of a rule change or lawyer find a loophole.

The stations in question (106.3 and 100.7) are not LPFM but instead are FM translators. They can rebroadcast commercial or non-commercial programming from an FM, AM, or HD source.
