Translator on 96.5 (Orange County)

In the Newburgh area I'm barely getting 96.5 and from what I hear it's playing the same thing as WVOS 95.9 in Liberty, NY.

When did this station come on the air? The only station I usually get on 96.5 is from Hartford or sometimes from Philly.

It's too bad many radio stations in Sulivan County don't stream their station online...
It would be nice to listen to WVOS, WSUL, etc.

The translator's on Sam's Point, above Ellenville, as far as I know. It's been on the air for about 6-12 months...I can't remember exactly when it went on.

The same guy put a religious translator on at 104.1, but I'm not sure that it's on the air all that often. The signal's wasn't so hot, last time I checked.

I noted the 96.5 translator on the air last May 1st, 2006. I'm not sure how long they might have been on the air before that. They actually come in pretty well at my location near Poughkeepsie, better than WVOS-95.9 itself because of interference from nearby WPKF on 96.1.
