Translator Question

What is the highest reception output a translator can go??
If you mean transmitter power, it is 250 watts. However, there is no transmitter height limit, so if it does not interfere with other stations, a translator can even go thousands of feet above a market on a mountain.

One of the more tech knowledgeable participants here may want to add something here.

In ABQ, there are several translators on Sandia Crest. That is approximately 10,300 ft above sea level or about 5000 ft above the valley floor.
