How about if the situation was reversed? Can a station with a H-pol license go CP with everything else the same? I once talked to a consulting engineer who said that this type of change was authorized years ago to encourage H-pol stations to go CP. This sounds too good to be true. He did say that V-pol only stations, which are fairly rare, are v-pol because of channel 6 interference issues and they cannot go CP which makes sense.
Thoughts?
