'Transparent,' 'The Affair' Lead Golden Globes

I had not even heard of Transparent until the Golden Globes, and I've always loved Tambor (Arrested Development, Larry Sanders Show, etc.)- so I watched the premiere episode late last night. Excellent!

The funny thing is - you wouldn't call him a handsome man, but he makes a fairly nice looking (older) woman

I had never heard of "Transparent" until five seconds before it won.

Jeffrey Tambor has come a long way since he was the annoyed neighbor on "The Ropers" (a show I enjoyed) and that's how I'll always remember him, though he seems to have played repected roles in quality shows lately.

"Jane the Virgin" was my favorite new show this fall so this news makes me very happy. Gina is so good and so pretty.
