Gee whiz....

You moved to a small town and you expect big city radio?

Obviously, this must be your first time in a really small town. The stations you describe sound like some small town locally owned (or regionally owned) properties trying to be "all things to all people".

If one is the only station in town it can work, but otherwise, programming like that is a losing proposition.

three are citadel on the sat wbpw country, rock 102 and another rock, then wegp talk. and the ch x that is the one , yes it is local how they stay on I dont know. I have worked in small towns and they were a 100 times better but that was alabama, here its kinda crazy, but the people are nice almost no crime and I love the country side, and did not come here to get back in radio anyway but it just worked out that way so all is fine I have my cd 's and the talk station for news and weather and they do sound like a pro. shame they dont play music , they were the hot rock station in the old days, and I help them some , they will soon get a new tower # 2 and the new transmitter will be at full power cp is for 50kw now on 25 kw and 10kw night the old R C A was put in new in 1961 ans was working fine , and now in a back up it is 5kw and 1 kw anyone that would like to see some pic.s e mail me at [email protected]

If I send you a quarter will you buy some periods to break up those run-on sentences? ;D

But seriously. You're complaining about the corporate run stations AND the locally owned stations. Face it - there just isn't any talent in small town radio anymore. I'm in small town Mississippi now and it's the same here. Homogeneous satellite fed and computer run, or local swap shop shenanigans.

Just be thankful there's any music left on radio.

Very true, Its not all bad
