Trends are out...

Congrats to WMMR. Beating YSP for the first time in God knows how long?

Anything else of note?

Eh. Not really.

Wired ticks up just slightly to save face.

WRNB's heyday is already over.

The Beat- Climbing, much to the chagrin of Y100 fans.

WPEN- Below a 1. Ouch.
______________

Is that a trend WITH or WITHOUT the new format? Cause that could seriously hurt.

And it looks like Philly may become a one Christmas music station town next year. Sunny remaining flat despite being all-Christmas through the rating peropd and B-101 the big winner. POOR WPEN too, what a waste!!!!!

Trend covers September/October/November, so Sunny was all-Christmas for only a third of this trend. Still those are not encouraging numbers. I agree that if Sunny doesn't come back with a big December, they won't be around for next Christmas.

No, no, no, no, no! Does anyone get how this works?!

And PS- If Sunny did go away, I somehow doubt B101 would bother with more than 36 hours of Christmas unless another station in town picked up where Sunny left off.

Fun with 12+ numbers

What a boring trend! I don't think anyone didn't see the WMMR/WYSP flip-flop coming. It's somewhat interesting to see WPHI go up almost a full point while Power 99 goes down by the same margin. WRNB is down even more, but, ya know... "Eh." WPEN: D'oh!

Wired & Q102 are up by the same margin.

Let me guess: Everyone thinks Y100 will resurface at 104.5 now, right? LOL.

Re: Trends are out..No Christmas #'s yet.

Not so fast...this trend does NOT include the Christmas programmimg...at least on B101(104.5 started about 10 days sooner than the B). The next set of numbers due out in mid-January (that will be the Fall book) will have the Christmas 24/7 factored in.

Its a shame too at how Sunny isn't doing well, at least 12+. How are their 25-54 numbers? Those matter more. I hope the sun won't set, but who knows.

Hey Bob, good to see ya. Glad to see you stayed out of the clusterfrick below. Anyway, yes dance would be worse.

But really let's be serious. No station is gonna run for less and make more than Sunny.

Have you heard their spot load? What could seriously hurt is carrying a heavy sack of money to the bank. Especially when they are not used to it.

Sorry, I had to take a swipe where I could.

But, I do agree they are running 104.5 on the cheap. Personally, I'd get Sunny back to where it was where it first started......with the "oh wow" factor.
______________

I'm sure there are people that this wouldn't upset one bit! Personally, I think two stations playing X-Mas music 24/7 for over a month is crazy. How many times
ddo people really want to hear good ol' Burl Ives puking out 'Holly Jolly Christmas'

Of course there are people who wouldn't mind...but those people don't matter!
