Its true what o1600985 has to say;

"I love trends because if your stations does bad it's a Wobble, if your station does well it's a great trend. Yes time will tell for KAGM/AGM However if you think the suits at AGM really wanted a slow start Think Again you don't shell out that kind of dough to get a 1.5."

Every time your station has a good trend/book its a big celebration and everybody in the building high five's and then everyone goes to lunch together. Now if its a bad trend/book... well it just wasn't our trend/book and we'll see how the next trend/book looks when it comes out. From what I've seen and heard is the impact a new staion makes on its first trend or even book for that matter will tell you if its got a chance. I've seen stations that flipped formats go from 1.6 to a 2.2 in its trends or in the first book. Now in this market anything can happen, but I wonder how new stations or even KAGM is reacting. Think about it they put a lot of money into getting that station off the ground; Salaries, Publicity, Remodled Station, ETC. Time will tell if KAGM has what it takes to go against KOB-AM (a station that is stable and is going nowhere).

Plus I got a great idea... since Larry is a legend, an Icon, the voice of New Mexico, and the King of Talk Radio; why doesn't AGM offer him the vacant PD positon? If he knows so much on how to put on a compelling show, then he should be able to Program the station right (I'm not trying to take a stab at Larry so everyone knows)?
Edited by rexthemixxer on 07/12/05 09:56 PM.
