Ooh, I found it! It happened during "Mic'ed up with Eric." Apparently Steve feels he's been kept totally in the dark about this reality TV show project, and Eric had to add, "My experience is, Larry will screw me and make more money." Then Larry tells Steve, "We will have this out in a very real way," and Steve says something like, "You're gonna get your ass kicked." Wow! Then when they come back from the break to interview the Braves announcer it's only Steve, Eric and Mixmaster Mark, no Larry.
I can't imagine having a three or four-hour long conversation with the same few guys, five days a week, for years and decades. These blow-ups have probably been happening regularly for years.
However, in case any of them think of calling it quits, I would recommend they get on LinkedIn and look at what other former local radio luminaries are up to these days. Maybe a job at Barnes & Noble? Host a trivia night at Wild Wing? Call centers are always looking for people that are handy with a headset and microphone. The bottom is the limit!
