"Yes, sir, it's true. The Regular Guys Show is currently under investigation again. I can't tell you the details, but it has nothing to do with gayness, children, drugs, or MySpace."

Anyone know what this is about?

I'm not going to bite this yet. Shows that get investigated usually have a gag order so as not to add any more fuel to the fire. If this turns out to be something, I'll be surprised.

I dont know for sure but it could have something to do with the dozens of complaints me and mine have sent to the fcc. I hope it is my complaint that gets the fine, then I win the game. This is so exciting.

That figures. The one and only decent show in Atlanta Morning Radio and a ******bag like Atlantaairwaves tried to screw it up. Him and the idiot trying to ban the Harry Pooter books infuriate me. Atlantadouchewaves thinks it is some kind of game to get them thrown off the air. Get a life, turn the station or just go kill your worthless self.

If you follow the rules you will not have a problem from the fcc. If you don't, you will possibly be fined a lot of money. It is your choice. Yes, we have written a few complaints to the fcc concerning the rg's. Yes, we know the fcc are researching a couple of them. Yes, we hope they get fined. And yes, we are entertained by the possibility of a victory in the form of a fine.

If you’re serious, you should really think about what you’re doing. Screwing with peoples livelihoods for fun is not cool.

Isn't it great, that in America, where the majority rules (except for in presidential elections, but thats another non-related issue) and decisions are made by-in-large "the people", that a small handful of people can cause such ruckas even though they are in the vast minority? Its also sad that the FCC will consistantly put the requests of the vast minority above the wishes of most people in the world.

Heck. Suppose a resturant received only one or two complaints per every ten thousand meals served - this would mean the resturant is doing a rather good job, as I think this same standard should apply to the airwaves as well.

Daisy you are right about majority rule. The majority in Atlanta do not listen or like the rg's. That is confirmed by ratings. The ratings say that well over 90 percent do not listen to them, ever. So it is the minority, like you, that think they can abuse the rules and completely throw them out the window. Well, the majority, me, think otherwise and we will hold them to the community stardand and use the fcc as needed.

Keep your bible off my regular guys. I bet atlantaairways got beat up a lot as a kid, and always wanted to be the hall monitor but was too much of a geek to get the job and this is his way of getting even. It is a shame that the moral minority of right wing conservatists are so much louder than the true majority of middle of the road people both left and right who work and take care of their families and dont have time to try and censor free speech for the good of the "children."

Also altantascum, your idea of community standards is a complete joke. With the corruption in local and national government, racism, illegal immigration, and the poor quality of our schools, you should have plenty of work to do raising our community standards in a positive way, and not have to worry about what a couple of dorky guys say on the radio. Just another reason that this country is about to go through a radical change when the bible thumpers anger enough of the true majority like me who are going to come out of the woodword to take our country back again from the religious right.

Bible? Religious right? huh. Where does all this come from? We do this just to see if we can. It is like, why do people climb Mount Everest? Why do people eat 40 hotdogs in 3 minutes. That is why we do it. Just to see if we can. That is it.

That’s really sad. If you were motivated by religious conviction it might be understandable, but to do it for entertainment is messed up.

How many hours did you spend listening to a radio show looking for violations? How much time did you spend filing your complaints? Would you like to see someone loose their job? That’s “entertaining” to you?

If that’s your idea of “fun” you should probably re-evaluate your life.

I would imagine that their violations don't even exist. This idiot must have just sent in fake FCC violations to get his rocks off.

Uh....Mr. Daisey...you are actually WRONG! We are not a "democracy, " where the "majority" rules!! We are a constitutional republic(if you listened to Neal Boortz you would know this!!)
Which simply means we are a society governed by law.....not the majority's whims and wants.
While I totally disagree with anyone trying to censor anyone on the radio the fact is that all terestial radio is under the R&R of the FCC.And we should work to change that so people like Stern and TRG can do their thang' without fear of harrassment.

If the radio airwaves are "technically" considered "public domain" then why not just have all the radio stations act like public radio. Subscribers rule. Shows that make the money stay, shows that don't go. Seems simple to me.

Voting for a party run by religious fundamentalists has its drawbacks. One of them is that you don't necessary get to enjoy the entertainment you'd like to.

It's very courageous of Mr. Wachs to be such a loyal advocate for the people who want to see him unemployed.

I have to agree. Mr. Dasiey do you remember the Federalist Papers?
Tyranny of the majortity was a central theme.

Its ******* like Airwaves that kept Stern out of Atlanta, what a joke this guy is, he does this for fun. How would you like it if the RG came down and slapped the **** out of your mouth at your job. If you don't like there show go listen to The Bert and Ernie show or something else. Don't try to take away someone's livelihood. I guarantee your the same little snitch that runs back to the "boss" to tell of all the watercooler gossip.

I agree with JimV. I personally will admit that I'd feel a bit of schadenfreude at the thought of a hard-core supporter of this administration losing his job because of this administration's pandering to religious zealots. It's the ultimate in irony.

"But Kevin Martin doesn't like smut, either!" Yeah, keep telling yourself it wouldn't matter.
