Tri-Cities 106.1 rebrands as "Big 106.1"

Now there's Big 106.1's in both Yakima & Tri-Cities, but completely different formats. Here it's Hot AC.
 
The '90s, I'd presume. Certainly not the '70s and '60s. The branding for that would be "'80s centric, and behind!"

That would have been my guess as well...but after listening for a couple of hours today it is about 70% Eighties and 30% Seventies (albeit mostly late 70's) Not one 90's tune. Sounds very similar to "Bob" in the market. Two stations going after an over 40 demo. I don't get it.
