Trial on DBO

I tried popping in on the trial while doing my daily travels, and noticed DBO goes to break mid-trial - guess they have to pay the bills. Timing sucks, as usually there's a recess just moments after.

Is Joe Kelly really that much an ironman ... does the 5-9am shift and then covers the trial til after 6pm - does he take a mid-day break?

Also, I have to assume DBO's legal experts aren't getting paid much ... they haven't quite learned how to talk in complete, cognizant sentences yet.

Be interested to see how this impacts their PPMs for June/July ... maybe they'll dump the daytime talk and just put a mic in the courthouse.

Is it Tony Stark or is it Joe Kelley LOL. To my knowledge he is there for the duration. I believe he is covering the noon time anchor role too (when the trial actually breaks for lunch).

Even when they don't break for commercials, the programming people think we want to have :10 to :15 liners "reminding" us we are listening to the trial "on News 96.5." Since I'm listening to it, and no other station in Orlando is covering it this way, don't they think I know I'm listening to WDBO-FM?

You are not listening to WDBO FM, you are listening to News 96 5 ;D

... Which IS WDBO-FM. The legal ID is WDBO-FM Orlando and not News 96.5 Orlando. The call letters are still WDBO-FM which means anyone listening to News 96.5 is also listening to WDBO-FM. News 96.5 is simply a moniker or positioning statement used by WDBO-FM.

I believe that was sarcasm. The new afternoon news guy at 96.5 WDBO is Tony Marino. He comes from South Florida, where he was a traffic anchor at Metro Networks and a weekend sports anchor at SportsRadio 560 WQAM.
